More funding to help construct new homes for the vulnerable
TPT Wealth has approved additional funding for the Supported Affordable Accommodation Trust to help construct more new homes for vulnerable Tasmanians.
Already 10 of 27 new homes have been completed by Supported Affordable Accommodation Trust (SAA Trust), with the help of a loan from TPT Wealth and a Federal Government grant.
Last week, TPT Wealth Head of Commercial Lending and Investments Bryce Harding attended the opening of SAA’s newest modular home at Clarendon Vale, south of Hobart.
“TPT Wealth is proud to play a part in supporting SAA Trust to build these brand new, modular homes that support Tasmanians living with disabilities,” Mr Harding said.
“This isn’t just about handing over the key to a new home, this is about providing the key to independent living and unlocking an even brighter future.
“TPT Wealth has a proud history of supporting the Tasmanian community - from not-for-profit organisations, to local business and individuals, with the management of charitable trusts, managed investments and commercial loans.
“As a non-bank lender, we are often in a position to provide assistance when others are unable.
“This has enabled us to build on our successful partnership with SAA Trust by increasing their total approved funding, which will support the delivery of this much needed housing project.
“It was great to see first-hand these new independent living homes that will change the lives of Tasmanians.
“I congratulate SAA Trust on their great work, and look forward to continuing to work with them to support our local community.”
