Celebrating the 2025 Hardie Fellowship Recipients

TPT Wealth is honoured to celebrate and congratulate the incredible Tasmanian teachers selected by the Department for Education, Children and Young People as the recipients of the 2025 Hardie Fellowship.
Established in 2002 from a $7.5 million bequest by Professor Charles Dunn Hardie, the Fellowship strengthens Tasmanian education by enabling exceptional teachers to undertake advanced study and research in the United States.
Investing in Tasmania’s Future

Administered by TPT Wealth, the Hardie Fellowship Trust provides access to international expertise, cutting-edge research and global best practices that directly improve learning outcomes in our community.
This year’s Fellows will undertake programs and research at some of America’s most prestigious universities, including:
- Harvard University
- University of California, Berkeley
- Boise State University
- Johns Hopkins University
This year’s Fellows represent a diverse cross-section of Tasmanian educators, each bringing specialised expertise and a shared commitment to improving student outcomes. Their learnings will benefit Tasmanian classrooms and communities long after their Fellowship concludes.
Matt Pearson, General Manager of TPT Wealth says,
“Charitable trusts are a meaningful and significant part of our work at TPT Wealth. They allow us to honour the intentions of donors, support projects that strengthen Tasmania, and ensure funds are protected and managed with care.
The Hardie Fellowship is a powerful reflection of that purpose. It’s an investment in the future of Tasmania.
TPT Wealth is honoured to continue to ensure that Professor Hardie’s legacy, generosity and memory continues to live on.
